TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

Technical resources for operable facade systems.

Design guides, drawings, specifications, test data and technical documentation for commercial window automation, architectural glass louvres and integrated control systems.

Use the resource hub to move from an early design question to the technical information needed to select, coordinate, specify and deliver the system.

BUILT FOR SPECIFICATION

Useful technical information starts with the design question.

A product brochure can describe a component. A useful technical resource should help resolve the decisions around it — what needs to move, how it will be controlled, how it interfaces with the facade and building systems, what performance information is available and what must be coordinated before installation.

EBSA technical content is structured around those project decisions. The objective is to make it easier to move from concept and product selection through documentation, integration, installation and commissioning without separating the physical facade element from the automation system behind it.

FIND TECHNICAL DATA

Search by system, product or document type.

A technical library is most useful when information can be found from more than one starting point. Visitors should be able to locate a document by the system they are designing, the product family they already know or the type of technical information they need.

One resource may support several systems or applications. Filters should make it easier to find the information without creating duplicate resource libraries.

CONNECTED TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Technical data should sit beside the system it supports.

The resource hub is an index, not the only home of technical information. Relevant drawings, test data, manuals, specifications and guides should also be surfaced directly on the Window Automation, Glass Louvre, Control System and Systems & Integration pages where they help a visitor make the next design decision.

LEGACY D+H PRODUCT SUPPORT

Identification, replacement and compatibility support for installed or superseded D+H actuators, controls and related equipment is kept in a dedicated legacy-support pathway rather than mixed into the current product library.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION IN PRACTICE

See how the technical decisions are applied on real projects.

Drawings, specifications and technical data explain what a system can do. Project case studies show how those decisions were coordinated within an operating building.

EBSA project stories connect facade design, actuation, louvre systems, control architecture, building interfaces, installation and commissioning so that technical information can be understood in the context in which it is used.
