MP2

Large-format, thermally broken glass louvre system with insulated glazing options for projects requiring substantial blade scale and integrated facade performance.

LF550

Large-format single-glazed end-pivot louvre with a frameless external appearance and concealed operating mechanism for bold all-glass facade expression.

BT90

Thermally broken double-glazed louvre system for projects where insulated glazing and thermal separation are central facade requirements.

G SERIES

Single-glazed centre-pivot louvre family with a range of framed, frameless and flush-blade expressions for commercial facade applications.

LARGE FORMAT

When blade scale becomes part of the architecture.

Large-format louvres change the visual character of a facade. Fewer, larger blades can create cleaner sightlines and a stronger architectural rhythm, but they also bring glass selection, structural behaviour, actuation, support framing and installation into the design conversation much earlier.

LF550 + MP2

LF550 and MP2 provide two distinct pathways into large-format glass louvre design — from single-glazed frameless expression through to insulated large-format facade systems.

GLAZING + THERMAL DESIGN

The required glazing and thermal strategy can change the louvre architecture significantly. EBSA offers pathways from single-glazed architectural louvres through to insulated and thermally broken facade systems, allowing the product selection to follow the wider facade design.

SINGLE GLAZED

A direct architectural glass expression for projects where blade transparency, scale and simplicity are central to the design. Primary pathways include LF550 and G Series.

INSULATED GLAZING

Double and other insulated glazing configurations for projects requiring a more thermally developed facade solution. Primary pathways include MP2 and BT90.

THERMAL BREAK

Thermally separated frame and blade-holder architecture where the facade thermal strategy requires it.

FRAMED + FRAMELESS EXPRESSION

Select the visible blade and frame treatment around the architectural intent rather than treating glazing configuration and appearance as separate decisions.

FACADE PERFORMANCE

Designed as part of the facade, not added to it.

A commercial glass louvre has to resolve architectural intent and facade performance at the same time. EBSA coordinates the louvre geometry, glass, framing, automation and interfaces so the system is developed as part of the surrounding facade rather than as an isolated window product.

MP2 OPPOSED OPENING

Opposing blade movement creates a distinctive facade and ventilation solution for projects where views, weather protection and architectural expression need to be resolved together.

The MP2 Opposed Opening system was developed for 1 Hotel Melbourne through a two-year project collaboration and integrated across the hotel and residential components of the Seafarers precinct.

FIXED GLASS LOUVRE FACADES

Overlapping fixed glass blades provide a separate pathway for ventilated screens, weather-protected facades and architectural applications where operable blades are not required.

1 HOTEL MELBOURNE — MELBOURNE

A new louvre architecture developed around the project.

EBSA’s MP2 Opposed Opening Louvre system was developed specifically for the project over a two-year collaboration process and integrated across both the hotel and residential components of the Seafarers precinct. The opposing-blade configuration was developed to maintain clear views while combining natural ventilation and weather protection within the facade.

MARVEL STADIUM — MELBOURNE

Large-format LF550 louvres integrated with facade automation.

EBSA supplied and installed Schneider LF550 frameless glass louvres and D+H CPS-M control panels as part of the Bourke Street concourse redevelopment, combining large-format facade expression with natural ventilation and smoke-control operation.

PHIVE — PARRAMATTA

Thermally broken louvres integrated into the building strategy.

EBSA supplied Schneider BT90 thermally broken double-glazed louvres and a digital CPS-M control system, integrating the operable facade with the building management and control system as part of PHIVE’s thermal-chimney and ventilation strategy.

QUAY QUARTER TOWER — SYDNEY

G Series louvres supporting natural ventilation and smoke relief.

EBSA supplied and installed Schneider G12 FS louvres together with D+H control and actuation technology at the podium skylight, supporting coordinated natural-ventilation and smoke-relief operation.
